We are looking for a highly motivated engineer who is adept at working with hardware prototyping (imaging/vision systems and laser systems, e.g. 3D printing, laser cutting) and also understands software development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and assembly of novel hardware setups that include laser sources, image acquisition systems, robotic assemblies

• Collaborate closely with other teams for seamless integration of software

• Prototype and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate hardware designs

• Adding new technological features to the software and participation in its testing, release and operation

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Physics or any related fields

• Strong passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow

• Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

• Knowledge of laser systems and optics is a plus

• Competency in programming with Python

• Experience in an industrial setup (especially laser industry) is a plus
